Meng ZaoMing-general manager
Since 2004, he started participating in the carbon finance, energy conservation and emissions reduction with expertise in comprehensive coordination, marketing planning and strategic planning.
From October 2004 to August 2007, he worked as a project manager in the Azure International Beijing office, being responsible for renewable energy consulting, and carbon trading policy research.
From 2007 to2009, he joined Peony Capital, a carbon fund, which was founded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He was the first Chinese project manager to the carbon fund. He has also worked in a Chinese energy saving energy conservation service company (EMC) with focus on textile industry and has successfully promoted the application of a German dyeing technological process optimization and energy management technology in China. In 2010 he established Beijing Peace Carbon Environmental Technology Co., Ltd with several other partners. He is also invited as the regular guest speaker for the training organized by NDRC, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Forestry Bureau ,China Papermaking Association,and relevant organizations on CDM projects development and carbon asset management with Asia, Africa and Latin foreign-aid training courses. He has sufficient experience in the management of CDM full cycle and renewable energy consulting experience, as well as direct administration experience of more than ten CDM projects. In addition, he has also participated in the energy conservation and environmental protection pilot projects between China and Japan, energy-saving assessment of a listed company of printing and dyeing factory in Zhejiang. Prior to the work in carbon trading, he used to be the assistant to the general manager and board member of the biggest shareholder of a listed company, Bohai Logistics (0889). The name of the number one shareholders of Bohai Logistics is Anhui New Yangtze Investment Holding Co., LTD.
Li Shibo-deputy general manager
Since 2006, Li Shibo has participated in the registration and issuance of many international carbon trade projects. He has successfully completed the development of a series of natural gas power generation, wind power and hydropower projects for five big power groups. Of which, two natural gas power generation projects developed by Huaneng Group generates annual total emission reductions of more than 2 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.
Prior to co-founding Peace Carbon, he worked as the technical manager in China for the energy funds founded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Morgan Stanley. He is proficient in carbon finance, investment and financing models. He has conducted financial analysis for hundreds of domestic renewable energy projects, and has completed financing plan for more than ten technology retrofit projects. Since 2015, having been in charge of industry financing business, he has raised 500 million construction capital for enterprises with financial gap.
zhang Li-technology manager
Ms zhang li has been working in the CDM field for nearly 9 years. She is proficient with a variety of mainstream CDM methodologies and accumulated sufficient experience on project development and monitoring.
Since 2005, she has successively completed the registration and issuance of six HFC - 23 decomposition of CDM projects, accounting for more than 50% of China's similar projects. She has also completed monitoring and issuance of work of two natural gas power generation projects and registration of many hydropower and waste heat recovery projects. In addition to technical work, she has published a number of papers in Chinese core journals, in particular, in the paper pulp and paper industry field.
Prior to joining the Peace Carbon, she worked as senior project manager and technical director in the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation Center (Beijing) and the First Climate Companies. Her knowledge in the field of energy saving and environmental protection is considered as expert. From 2003 to 2004, she worked as project manager in the Green Industrial Co., LTD dealing with project management and consulting work, having engaged in multiple projects technically assisted by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank。
Qin Boya-project manager
Qin Boya, senior auditor, Beijing Normal University, Master of Environmental Science, intermediate title (engineer). She was the auditor and technical assessor for validation and verification of carbon emission trading in pilot provinces and cities, CDM projects, CCER and EMS related work.
From 2008 to 2015, she worked for Zhonghuan United (Beijing) Certification Center Co., LTD. Her responsibility mainly was involved with third party auditing in the field of energy conservation and emissions reduction, environmental protection. As an auditor and technical reviewer, she was involved with more than 30 carbon emissions verifications, validation and verification of more than 150 CDM projects (including projects such as GS, VCS, WCD type), validation and verification of more than 60 CCERs, as well as the GHG emissions verification of enterprises and projects under standard ISO14064.
Huang Zhifang-project manager
Huang has worked for seven years in the CDM field. She has sufficient experience in carbon asset management, CDM project development and monitoring.
In the perspective of carbon asset management, she recommended projects with high quality to the fund manager and was involved with business negotiation; she also participated in a range of commercial work, including conducting due diligence of the projects, identifying project risks, completing the due diligence report, developing a financial model, analyzing the feasibility of the project investment, participating in joint venture negotiation and business plan writing. She was also managing the whole cycle of CDM projects development, including drafting project design documents (PDD) and monitoring reports, coordinating the project owner and the third party, buyers to complete the validation, registration, verification and issuance of CERs. She has completed registration for more than 10 projects and issuance of three projects. The projects she was involved include electric power, renewable energy, (wind power, biogas, landfill gas, biomass, coal bed methane), cement, iron and steel industry. She has good understanding of project management and risks control after working two years at a power plant, she has a thorough understanding of coal-fired power plant production process, production management, and the whole electric power industry.
Liu Haixu-verification manager
Since 2008, Mr Liu Haixu has worked in the CDM area for water and electricity, wind power, solar, waste heat recovery, biodiesel and biomass co-generation projects. He has a wealth of experience and has a wide range of interpersonal relationships in the carbon industry. He is familiar with quality management systems and environmental management system auditing, and also has a good understanding of energy efficiency. He is familiar in building energy management systems.
From February 2014 to November 2014, he worked for Chuangyuan Prudential Management System Certification Consulting Co., LTD. Under the standard of GB/T23331, he helped six tobacco factories under China Tabacco Group in Guangdong and Guangdong to set up their own energy management system. From January 2012 to January 2014, he worked as a GHG emissions auditor for TUV NORD, conducting the validation and verification of GHG emissions reduction projects in China. He was responsible for the validation and verification of more than 20 Chinese CDM projects and has registered an afforestation project in Sichuan. From 2008 to 2011, he has also worked as project manager for Qingneng Investment Consulting (Beijing) Co., LTD., Pure Carbon Services GmbH, and ZhongZi Guoyan (Beijing) Investment Consulting Center as a project manager, mainly responsible for the development of CDM projects, validation and verification, including hydropower, wind power, solar power, biodiesel, waste heat, biomass and other projects.
ZhengYing -verification manager
Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Wuhan University. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a qualified Carbon auditor for Beijing Carbon Emission Trading System with national medium-grade professional title.
From 2007 to 2008, she worked as a research assistant in Tsinghua University and participated in the “State ‘11th Five-year Plan’ Technology Support Project” ---- “Common Technology Development and Application of Circular Economy in Suzhou City”. She was in charge of “Scheme Design and Engineering Demonstration of Key Enterprise Cleaner Production” subproject and the “Revision of Industrial Circular Economy Planning of Suzhou City” subproject.
From 2011 to 2014, she worked as the Lead Assessor and Expert in SGS. She conducted validation and verification of nearly 20 Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects, including the drafting of projects agreement, communication with clients, collecting the documentation and reviewing the documentation, GSP of projects ‘documentation, drafting of auditing plan, site visit drafting the findings after site visit, the drafting finial validation report and follow up work after the project being submitted. She was also responsible for the verification of five ISO14064 projects.
Jia weili-project manager
Jia Weili has worked in the field of CDM since 2010 and has 5 years of working experience with CDM technology. She has participated in more than 20 CDM projects, involving areas such as hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic power generation and has accumulated rich experience in renewable energy projects.
Since 2013, she was involved in the registration and issuance of CCERs of multiple projects. She participated in the carbon verification of projects in Inner Mongolia and other provinces, and conducted verification of GHG emissions reports submitted by the emitting companies. The emitting companies cover a range of sectors, including power plants, cement factories and iron & steel factories. She also has participated multiple training courses in terms of CDM, CCER and carbon verification related subjects. She has mastered the relevant regulations and requirements of GHG reduction field.
From August 2010 to December 2015, she was project manager working for Horwath International Rivers Water Conservancy Engineering Consulting Co., LTD. She joined Peace Carbon in December 2015.
Wang Wentang - Senior auditor
Wang wentang graduated from Beijing Institute of Chemical Industry as a chemical engineer. He started working from 1983. Since 1983, he began to be engaged in the work of energy conservation. He was former Secretary General of the China Chemical Energy Saving Technology Association, Deputy Director of Experts of the National Chemical Industry Energy Conservation (reduction) Centre, Germany Rhine TUV Rheinland Group Consultant of energy efficiency.
Wang Wentang has conducted an extensive range of work in policy research, information exchange of energy conservation, energy audit and energy conservation planning, carbon verification. He has published more than 20 articles in the public journals. Five works have been published, and a lot of internal information was published. He has participated in the carbon verification of the Chinese Chemical Industry Co., LTD, Zhejiang Blue Sky Environmental Protection Technology Co., LTD and Xiasha Production Base.
Liu Wenyi - energy-saving diagnosis, a senior adviser
Associate Professor, Energy and Power Engineering Institute of North China Electric Power University, School of Engineering, Expert on Thermal Engineering and heat strengthening transfer and energy conservation and emissions reduction, self-sufficient power plant energy saving diagnosis. He was mainly engaged in the advanced energy system integrating optimization, modeling and simulation, strengthening the research of the heat transfer and energy storage. In 1993 graduated from Shandong University with a power plant thermal and power engineering degree. Later he studied engineering thermal physics at Energy and Power Engineering College in Xi 'An Jiaotong University for a master's degree. He started working in the North China Electric Power University in 1996. He has published research papers in 15 core journals, of which, three of the articles have been included in EI. He has participated and successfully completed the Beijing Natural Science Fund Project. He won the 2004 Top Ten Young Teachers Award from North China Electric Power University, Guangdong Nuclear Power Yucai Award for Teaching Excellence Award in 2006 and many other awards in 2008.
Xu Gang - energy-saving diagnosis, a senior adviser
Associate Professor of Energy and Power Engineering at North China Electric Power University. He is an expert in Thermal Engineering of energy saving and emission reduction and is good at energy saving diagnosis for self-provided power plant. In 2004 he commenced PhD program at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of engineering on thermal physics. He participated in major research projects for National Natural Science Fund, "the Western Energy Utilization and its Several Key Issues of Environmental Protection", key projects “Multi-functional Energy System in the West”, the national high technology research and development program (863 program) project "Integration and Dynamic Characteristics of IGCC Plant Design", as well as major international cooperation research projects of national natural science fund "Greenhouse Gas Control Technology and Strategy Research" project .
In 2008, he started working in energy and power engineering college of the North China Electric Power University. He completed China-UK NZEC greenhouse gas emissions in the international cooperation projects and the ministry of education major projects. Currently, as a project director for the national natural science fund project "fossil energy system integration of CO2 enrichment separation and liquefaction integration mechanism", as the head of the corpus to participate in the national 973 project "the depth of the low temperature flue gas waste heat boiler use basic research", as the backbone to participate in the national 973 plan project "basic research of large coal-fired power generating units process and energy saving" and one international cooperation and exchanges of national natural science fund project "application basic research of new solid phase adsorption to capture carbon dioxide (51061130538)". He has published more than 30 papers, including SCI article 5, and more than 20 EI collected articles and has applied for four national patents.
Zhang Xinping,-pulp and paper expert advisers, China paper association deputy secretary-general, senior engineer
He began to work in the pulp and paper industry from 1984 and has engaged in the industry for 30 years. He was transferred to pulp and paper industry management from the light industry. He took the position of deputy director of papermaking planning office of China’s Light Industry Association. Since 1999, he has been working in the same organization, but as association deputy secretary-general and senior engineer.
From 1984 to 1988, he has participated in the national paper production plan and the management of commodity wood pulp. From 1989 to 1999, he was involved in planning of pipe project and the ninth, tenth and eleventh Five-Year plan of papermaking industry and industry development policy. He organized the formulation of major equipment for special paper-making project under the State Council. In the former State Economic and Trade Commission bond papermaking project planning and he participated in project review and also participated in a number of papermaking programs, feasibility study, preliminary design work.
Liu bing ye-tomahawk, pulp and paper, a senior adviser
Liu Bingye-tomahawk is a former professor of Dalian University of technology, a master tutor and discipline leader. He was a former party deputy secretary, chemical engineer and director of the Department of Dalian Institute of Light Industry. Former commissioner of Education College of Light Industry and Food Science Teaching Steering Committee of light chemical engineering teaching guidance committee, director of China papermaking society, fifth, six, pulp and paper branch secretary of Liaoning province light industry association. Expert of energy conservation and emissions reduction verification group (he conducted verification for three times in 2009-2010). His main research focus was on the clean production, environmental protection and energy saving of pulping and papermaking.
He participated in drafting an energy saving and emission reduction standard in Dalian city, which was authorized by Dalian economic and technological development zone. The main job included researching companies, collecting data and writing standards.
From February 2014 to May 2014, he was hired to provide technical service to conduct energy assessment for two pulp and paper enterprises in Shandong Texas by the American institute of industrial productivity.
