Five On Friday

One
Decorating Progress

I'm just keepin' it real when I post that top picture because that has been my reality for the past 3 months or so.  Who can even work in that?  Especially someone who tries their best to be creative.  Don't worry....it didn't always look like that but it did way too often.  And poor Darren has had to work in it 3 nights a week.  Whew.  So last weekend, thanks to Darren and my mom's help, we made a few baby steps in our decorating.  Thank the Lord for color on these walls!!  I still have a long way to go but it's already 100x better than it was.  The color is a little off in the picture... it's more of an aqua than it shows here.  It's a very happy color :)  It's amazing what some paint and decluttering and furniture rearrangement can do to a space.

Charlotte Area Fall Mini-Sessions

I've got some mini session specials going on now.  If you are in the Charlotte or surrounding area, this is a great opportunity to get pictures for Christmas cards and gifts! Check out my facebook page or website and contact me now.  One of my dates is already full.

 Three
Maddox

I can't post a Five on Friday without posting this sweet face.  This was the other night at the park down the street.  He's just so sweet :)

Four
Planners
I don't have a picture for this yet but I'm in the process of designing a few planners (downloadable and printable).  I'm excited about it.  I mean...as much as I love Emily Ley and Erin Condren, I can't imagine paying $50-$75 on a planner that I could potentially spill something on.  Also... I can't stand to have a ton of white-out on my pages so I like the option to reprint a certain page if needed.  So stay tuned! I'll be putting them in an etsy shop for a very reasonable amount. I'm hoping to have them done in the next month or so.

I Remember- September 11, 2001

I'm sure everyone has shared their stories about 9-11 so here is mine... I was in my senior year of high school and sitting in my AP French class.  I'm sure we were probably in our fourth round of Lundi Matin (kidding...) when the other French teacher came running down the hall yelling in French for my teacher to turn on the tv because a plane had just flown into one of the towers.  So we turned the tv on and watched the tragedy ensue.  I will never ever forget that day.  My prayers go out to those who lost loved ones that day or in the days to follow.

Link-Ups. If you have a blog and want to link up with other bloggers posting... Check out these Friday Link-Up parties :)
