Size: 12 months clothes. Size 4 diapers.
~Maddox got his first teeth this month. His bottom 2 teeth came in at the same time and I noticed them on June 25. He has one top tooth that has popped through and the one beside it is not far behind. So we will have a little bunny on our hands very soon.
~First parade was 4th of July. I think he enjoyed it... until the fire trucks. He got the biggest pouty lip and then just started bawling :( It was pitiful...but of course I had to take a picture of it lol There were 4 of them! and the sirens and horns were super loud so I completely understand.
~The helmet is off! Woohoo! Got it off on July 9.
~Had his first bubble experience (July 3) and his expressions are always so sweet and excited.
~Eating puffs but so far has spit out other things we give him that aren't baby food. We have to work on that. After I wrote that, he did have some stewed squash but he still doesn't care for it yet.
~Will drink water from a bottle but if he gets it from a sippy cup, he'll spit it out.
~Has 25-30oz of formula a day along with baby food 3x a day. (our budget will thank us when this slows down more!)
~He rolls everywhere, claps his hand, and has the best little squinty face grin.
~He's getting to be quite vocal but only says "mama" and "baba" or maybe it's "blah blah" lol idk
~He likes musical toys and he likes to pick toys up and shake them.
~He loves to jump.
~He likes to stand on our lap facing away from us and he'll just clap his hands and wave.
~He really enjoys when we sit outside but man oh man has it been too hot for that nonsense.
~Has learned to splash in the tub.
~Likes rough-housing with daddy.
~Likes to be upside down.
~Gave me my first super slobbery kiss on the day he turned 9 months old :) Daddy had to wait a few days for his hehe

It's so crazy to see how much they change and how fast it is going. I'm not ready for double digits!
Parade fun with my lovely long time friend and matron of honor :)
Maddox likes her too.... but who doesn't he like? lol (Grateful for that!)
Remember when I said he didn't like the fire trucks? He REALLY didn't like them! lol Bless....
The matching wasn't planned but it was 4th of July so blue was suiting lol
Just pure innocence and genuine excitement for all things.
His smoosh face grin.
I love this child....
LOVE this one!
This was like 1 out of 50 that I was trying to do by myself outside and he kept trying to grab pine needles and stick them in his mouth lol
If anyone wants to buy a back up giraffe (I call her Ginger) for Maddox... I found this one at Toys & Co. but they are out so you can get it on Amazon. It's called Jellycat Fuddlewuddle Giraffe (Medium). They have a big version at Toys & Co that I LOVE but there's no way on this earth I'm paying $75 for a stuffed animal.... um NO!
Trying to get better at reading to him everyday or a couple times a day since he's getting to the point where he will laugh at the pictures now. And of course he likes to put the board books in his mouth and tries to close the book as I'm turning the pages.
This baby LOVES to jump! And he makes so many great facial expressions when he's in there that I had to try and catch some of them. He's already over the max weight for the jumper but oh well lol
I told you I love baby sleeping pictures :) How can you not love that?
Story: So where I work, we have staff childcare (which by the way is such a huge perk!) if you work during certain shifts which I rarely work during those times so Maddox has only been a handful of times. A couple of weeks ago, I worked those shifts both Thursday and Friday so I took him with me. Thursday, he did great and actually took a nap which I was afraid he wouldn't and would be super fussy like he was the last time he went. Friday, I dropped him off and was hanging up his diaper bag when one of the child care ladies walked in. The other lady said "ohh! you're baby is here today!" and the lady was so happy which of course made me feel so much better about leaving him there. Later that day, we had a fire alarm. I knew the child care area had their procedures on getting the little ones out so I didn't really worry about it and just did my job with making sure everyone on my side was getting out of the building and where they needed to be out of the way. When we came back in, one of my coworkers called me and said "I just had the best time with Maddox!" She had been working in the back so she was helping get the little ones out. She was saying how he was just laughing and carrying on and making quite the spectacle of himself apparently. He was in a rolling crib with his buddy Luke (our friend's lil' boy) and they were having a good time together. I then heard from 2 other people about how adorable he was and everyone was coming up to see him (it's the thighs...). But that definitely made me feel good. The last time I had to take him there I was told that he was really fussy and just wouldn't nap so I was super apprehensive about having to take him anymore. The end.... that story was more so I could remember it lol
Well....that's all I've got. I had everything ready by the time he actually turned 9 months old but it takes forever to size the pictures and make collages. But hey at least it's still July lol
